<itunes:summary>Visible in this hastily produced movie are the current stars of my Baobab show. Two 3 foot tall, 2 yr old A. zas with a digitata trying to catch up. The shorties in the start of the slideshow are recent sprouts of grandidieri, fony, ruprostipa and digitata. The grandidieris are visible in the left of the first slide and one in the top down shot of the round pot. In the second slide, the zas are already forming a canopy, albeit 3 feet up from the “forest” floor. Most of the rest of the slides show the robust two year old digitatas before they drop their leaves for the winter.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>I’ve been pursuing growing Baobabs since 2004 and here we have a short video of the current “state of the crop”. The two tall ones are Adansonia za while all the others are Adansonia digitata. What you see are the result of two plantings. One started in 2004 and the others in 2005.This video was filmed using an Apple iSight on a rainy Labor Day in Dallas.- Alex Zavatone</itunes:summary>
