After Shanny had popped in a piece of gum, “What’s that smell mommy? Is that smell toothpaste mommy?” He must recognize the smell of mint. We were at Kendall’s cousin’s house, and she offered Damon a bunch of different pictures to color, some of pirates, and treasure chests, but Damon said, “No, I want to color Jesus!” Not sure where he got that idea... Sean had his highlighter in his mouth and Damon said, “Take that crayon out of your mouth Sean!” I think he’s heard that one a few too many times from us. I always tell Damon how handsome he looks, so this morning after I dressed Audrey he told her, “Awww, you look so handsome Audwee!” As I am writing these, he just picked up a envelope, lifted the flap, and said, “It’s a house mommy, it’s a house!” Last time he pretended to talk to someone on the phone he said, “Oh, hi Kaycee. Did Carso hit you? He did?” It was pretty funny, because those boys are always crying wolf about who is hitting who. We told Damon we were going to barbeque yesterday, so he asked, “Are we going to Rudy’s?” Which is only logical since that was the bbq place we went to while we were in TX. I asked him what time it was when he was wearing his Cars watch, and he answered very certainly, “It’s fourty-six.” Whenever anyone asks him how old he is he says, “I’m twenty and a half.” He just proclaimed to me, “What a mess mommy!” So I asked him, “Why don’t you clean it up?” He replied in song, with the melody of Wonder Pets, “We got to do it, We got to do it, We got to do it!” Nice. Just constantly singing and performing as evidenced by the video above. I couldn’t be prouder!
