(Those of you who know me will notice I took the liberty of giving myself a trim little athletic looking body. Well, wouldn’t you?) I then attached the doll people to a paper mountain background. And that’s exactly what happened when I took matters in my own hands and threw my own surprise party! (well sort of ) What better way to make sure everything is perfect. This could catch on...no, really it could :-) We hired a fabulous band- Suburban Disturbance- and they rocked the house! I admit.... I could get use to the stage, the cheers and the lights... but my singing debut may come to an abrupt end (if my husband has anything to say about it). Local and national artists and celebrities are given a blank clay mask in which to embellish, paint, collage...whatever fancies their imagination. It was a very fun & creative endeavor. I used metal beads and findings for her face and her hair ribbons spelI HOPE, LOVE, PRAY. I only hope she acquires a bid or two. All proceeds benefit HospiceCare Inc.
