Clean up the beaches

The reason why to keep the beaches clean is if we pick up trash, we help the fish and sea turtles. Then the sea animals don’t have dirty water. Also, the beach clean-up helps us because then we can visit nice beaches. Don’t litter! By Kyahana and another first grade student

Cleaning up beaches helps sea turtles because if a turtle thinks garbage is something that it eats, it could eat it and get sick. Throwing garbage on the beach is bad for animals and us. Garbage is one of the things that a leatherback and other sea creatures might eat if they see it in the water.
