Jessica my youngest is finally home from Texas! I picked her up today just before 6PM. I think she grew at least three inches this summer! I had this card waiting for her to welcome her home, letting her know just how much I missed her. I just love this new Little Tee’s set by Gina K. You can do so much with it. The idea for this card came from a card I saw on Splitcoast and I just loved this layout. I inked up the solid tee with three different chalk inks to give a kind of tie dye look. The

This has been a very busy week at work getting things ready for the students on Monday. I have been lucky to have my oldest daughter Amanda coming and helping me each day. This is the card I made for all of the member of my Fine Arts team to wish them a great school year. I wanted something that would be quick and simple since I needed to make 10 kind of fast. First Day Back

Today was full of getting reacquainted with old friends, meeting some new friends, and LOTS of meetings. A teacher’s first day back is very much like your children's first day. We play those getting to know you games, we go over the school rules, then we break off into our teams to go over our plans for the year. It’s kind of funny when you think about it. A Workshop School

Tomorrow marks the teacher’s first day back to school, so I have been very busy making some back to school treats this weekend. I got this idea off Splitcoast and knew I just had to make them for my staff this year. One of my jobs at the school is also Hospitality Chair so I love finding fun little treats to share. Our motto “A Workshop School” means we are always learning like our students. I printed that along with our school name South Grade Elementary and 2008-2009 on the computer in LD
