Our youngest daughter asked us to make sure that we got lots of pictures of the two of us on our trip to Australia/NZ, so we thought this would be a fun one to have. A huge fish named Wally was hanging around the boat-Ed got to pet him, bu

When planning my very short trip home, I asked the girls where we should go for Valentine’s Day, as Ed wanted to “treat” his girls to something special. Tamber said that the swanky restaurant where we kept our boat, Palisades, had a great “Happy Hour” special on both drinks and food, so we decided to go there. Beforehand, we met up with our dear friend Vera, at a local Starbuck’s-don’t we all look festive? (see below) Catching up with friends is always precious... We stayed a bit longer tha

This is where you get to knock over cute little metal animals-it is very satisfying to see them fall when you are on target! (They range in size with the smallest being closest; chickens, turkeys, pigs and rams.) Ed decided that this would be a fun addition to the air gun shoots, so found patterns online, and had them made in town. His welder friend in Konya is responsible for the fanta

I vaguely thought it might be a small airport outside of Istanbul, but never checked on a map. All I knew was that it was a place called Hatay-but since that could have been the name of the airport, I didn’t even try to look it up.
