<itunes:summary>In this talk, Lindsay discusses the growth of her non-profit, Strong Women, Strong Girls. Getting started is the hard part, but even starting small (which is how most “big things” get started), is a powerful beginning as it invites and inspires others to participate. Lindsay’s experience and message bears witness to Aristotle’s insight that “beginning is more than half of the whole.” He says that in Book One of the Nicomachean Ethics, by the way. This talk is 60 minutes long and was sponsored by the Center for Professional and Personal Ethics at Central Michigan University. Pictured (from left to right) are Sandra Joy Russell, Amanda Curler, Lindsay Hyde, Emily Hagen and Nicholas Brousseau. Sandra, Amanda, Emily and Nick host their own internet radio show called “ethics talk.” (http://ethicstalk.cmich.edu)</itunes:summary>
